Jean-Luc Wines

Jean-Luc Wines (stylized as jEAN-LUC) is a high-end French wine that specializes in high-brow intellect and cheeky wines. Named for the famous French New Wave film director Jean-Luc Godard, this brand packs 1960s inspired colors and Godard’s famous dark sunglasses. 

Initially needing a brand makeover, Jean-Luc Wines wanted to target a younger, hipper demographic that would enjoy a stiff glass of red and challenging artistic norms. The new logo drew its inspiration from Godard’s movie posters. By incorporating a fresh sans serif and a modern spin on the subtractive color model, the new logo and wine label stands out in bottle shops with a certain obscure curiosity.

By implementing an ad campaign and subscription box service, socially conscientious mid-20 somethings can take advantage of the savvy and bold flavors of Jean-Luc Wines. Other deliverables include a booth display and promotional wear for events.
