Brisk Morning Coffee

Brisk Morning Coffee is a fair-trade coffee company based in Durham, NC that wanted modern branding to compete with national competitors.

The new brand identity uses vibrant colors that reflect the culture and region in which the coffee beans are grown and harvested. Brisk Morning Coffee’s new logo uses a friendly sans serif type and an icon of steamy, hot coffee. The new logo appears at the top of the product label, followed by product information that features a unique blend—blonde, medium, and dark. The background shape of the new design is intentionally shaped like a window, as if the consumer is enjoying their first cup of brew, contemplating if they should tackle their inbox or dream about venturing somewhere tropical.
